Koru Games

Over the last 3 days I have been playing basketball for the Koru Games. I really enjoyed playing basketball because it was fun working together and I enjoyed learning how to play. Thinking back to the beginning of the year, I really improved on shooting and passing because I learnt the proper way to shoot and how much power to put into the shot. Also passing because I learnt how hard to pass the ball and where to pass.
Overall I found the Koru Games was an awesome experience because of how fun it was to verse other teams and learn how to play a sport I had never played before.

Our next step is to do find the area in a circle. We are at Extended Abstract for this goal because we have completed the goal and put the video on you tube and on our blogs.

Math Goal Term 2

 Devise a strategy to solve a whole number problems.

Im at Extended Abstract with this goal because I have passed it. My next goal is to explore and describe a locus formed in a practical situation.

Term 3 Goal Reflection

 I think I'm going well with my goals because I'm getting better at writing and I have been using different strategies to help with learning it. I'm speaking more in bigger groups to gain confidence. I have turned up to my jobs and roles to show that I am willing to help.

Writing Term 1

In this piece of writing I was learning to add more detail by adding details with a comma. The bits highlighted in yellow show I can do this.

Reading Goal

  WALT: recognise effect/ purpose of literary texts that subvert conventional features. I am at extended abstract for this goal so I have now passed.
